Upping the power level and is a dream for any Supra owner. One quick and easy way to increase performance  is recircuiting your cooling system.  Many upgrades can be done to your cooling system to increase performance. In your cooling system there are wires for the coolant sensor. There is a black and a green or yellow wire coming off of the coolant sensor, which is on one side of the thermostat housing. You will want to cut the yellow or green wire and add a 2000 ohm potentiometer (linear, not logarithmic) in series with your cooling system. There are three prongs on the potentiometer. You will need to use the middle one and one of the end ones. You can attach the potentiometer either near the sensor itself or, if you have a wiring diagram, near the ECU. The placement of the potentiometer does not effect the cooling performance.

Now you need to choose your mounting position for your potentiometer. One good, convenient place to mount the pot is in one of the coin holders next to the fog light switch.  Mounting it here will give your car an added performance look. Turn the potentiometer on and adust it for optimum cooling performance. Wait for the engine to warm up after cooling until the engine idles up just a bit and that is it.  You have now increased the cooling and performance of your Supra quickly and easily.

Depending on how cold it is where you live you may not need the cold start injector in your cooling system anymore. Some owners have had a problem in California with cold starts being way rich and affecting the cooling performance of the car.  To stop this problem, instead of turning the pot down when cold and then back up when hot they simply just disconnected the cold start injector and now their cars start and run great, ice cold or warm.
